In this Learning Lab episode, host Dr. Celina Bley speaks with staff from Mineola ISD, a district that has developed a Guardian Program alongside their own ISD police department. Staff discuss why they developed the program in addition to their law enforcement presence as well as how they intentionally train their guardians beyond the minimum requirements. Was a great information.
Stopped right after I actually heard this: "Research shows that school safety positively impacts academic success."
I’m not even gonna listen to this guy. His pansy ideas are helping to get little humans attacked. Lock the freakin doors. Hire military and police vets to guard them. Quit baby-ing criminals. Pay vets, cops, whether retired or not a large amount of bucks. They deserve it….and they WILL protect children. And if someone breaches the security….. shoot first… no questions later. Kids, or any other honest person, is not a criminal. Criminals are. Don’t baby them.
Based on what happened in Uvalde today, how is this even relevant? And how did the shooter gain access into the building?
